10/10/2010 Neemrana Fort Palace
Leaving the city of Jaipur we head east towards Delhi, and here on {[("Highway")]} that connects the two cities have seen a strong wonderful ... That strong
is now a luxury, is the Neemrana Fort Palace, and today we will spend a day of relaxation!
Begun in 1464 AD, Neemrana Fort-Palace is among the oldest places of cultural heritage of India. Neemrana became the third capital of the descendants of Prithviraj Chauhan III.
This picturesque site was chosen by Raja Rajdeo Neemrana and takes its name from a brave local chieftain Nimol Meo, who after being defeated by Chauhans, begged them to give his name to his lost kingdom.
When we arrived at Neemrana, as usual, the employees were posted back in our suitcases and we got to the reception, here we did the check-in and waited 2 hours to get our room because the check is made out to 12 and then the first two hours is not possible that the rooms are again ready for the next guests.
But ok, we were in the castle of dreams so ... be quiet ... relax ...
We had a nice walk through the various streets of the fort, very picturesque, every corner is a nice photo ..
we then asked for information about the massages, the spa hotel and Federica has booked an Ayurvedic massage in the afternoon, while we were
to soak in the lovely pool with a fantastic view. At 5
federica is out of the spa with a face ... it seemed ecstatic! Together then we waited for sunset.
Spectacular ... We were speechless until the sun is hidden behind the mountains in the background. Around 7 we
andatai the bar of the fort where there was a duo, father and son, playing and singing and playing the background of our drink beer, the clientele of the bar were all
Moscioni this duet and the boy, who played the dolak, he was very good, while his father, who played a sitar, it was a bit out of tune ... The strong
an exciting atmosphere at night ... from the Arabian Nights! Imagine all dark .. .. and just lights (Christmas style) that adorn the walls of the fort, the trees and bows and candles to enhance the special
whole of the past is truly fabulous and rare to see really romantic romantic to live!
we dined outdoors on a terrace with a central pool with aquatic plants and trickles of water, all surrounded with lights and candles on the tables, our dinner was really good and as usual
We tasted everything.
After dinner we wrote and published some blog and then we went to sleep!
