Jaisalmer

Alarm !!... and we are ready to leave Bikaner for Jaisalmer at a time.

leave at 8:30, we expect 6 hours of travel, but this time the roads are better and
during the trip we stop to make a short stop at a
Guest House in the middle of nowhere where we drink a cold drink and leave again.
the street we stopped in a country where we visit a Jain temple where the walls are covered with a beautiful
game mirrors and drawings.
Then we go into what looked like a museum but it was really a shop, the thing that left us perplexed
was the origin of those interesting historical artifacts, which were sold to tourists, but
such shops are very common in india wherever there is a Haveli,
and then argue that the case of goods stolen from the same Haveli.
after a couple of stops ...

Around 16:00 we arrived in Jaisalmer and here are waiting for us at our fabulous hotel surrounded by enriched small streets and many shops for tourists
cows relaxed freedom, these moments are typical of Indian life found themselves right in between the walls of the fort, there
Shambhoo another correspondent, tells us a little bit and then presents us with the guidance of Jaisalmer.
Guide calls itself Ganesh is fierce and we must say that was very kind and helpful, as
all and showed great patience.
as the first day in Jaisalmer we have not seen it, we witnessed a spectacular sunset on the hill opposite the fort, and plus we had our first close encounter with local people, especially women and children, some of them surrounded by inviting tourists repeatedly with a smile to buy dozens of hands that led to the gallows, and children with a smile instead of reassuring us walking around asking us to give him a little bit, the detail that we have a moment with sad attracted attention was that these children all had an eye infection so that at the smallest did not allow him to open his eyes!
we have assumed that this is due to poor hygiene of the place;
but the smile of those children was special, a smile will never forget!

We returned down the fort and before 8 am we were at dinner because we were hungry.
The restaurant where we ate was really beautiful, soft lights and one side was a large haveli, while
we had a strong background lighting, here we talked a lot with Ganesh, "life and death" ...
an interesting night deepened by this comparison indi-Italian.
then we took a short walk and we returned to the hotel, here we took advantage of the time available to write the blog ....

and then sleep
